Well, I tried to no avail to install Storage.pl into my home directory. I did the make/install stuff just fine, and everything lookedÂ… well, indecipherable, but otherwise just fine. I am no perl guru, that’s for sure. So I guess I will just have to wait to install mt-blacklist until they’ve written a work-around for this particular requirement.
And in the meantimeÂ… *sigh* I may just go ahead and delete the 20 or so spam comments that have appeared on my site in the last week or so… by hand. I did at least go ahead and upgrade Movable Type to 2.64. I’ve been dreading it, but I should have known it was going to be easy.
I missed all the sex spam. Was it any good? I haven’t seen any of the comment spam yet. Leave it to spam to ruin a good thing.

Heya, I was googling for songfight out of boredom and I found your blog. I wrote a long winded explanation of who thought of songfight and then realized that I commented on a post made about a year ago. Anywho, Chris Cunningham (former member of Narbotic) challenged people to give his band, Narbotic, song titles which they would then write songs for. Eventually he got the idea to reverse it, and songfight was born. Songfight is now in different hands because Narbotic broke up, but it’s still alive, and QUITE kickin. =D
(Although as a contender in songfight, albumfight, and coverfight, I’m a little biased.)
i’ve had like 30 porn spams this week. jeremy installed mt-blacklist for me, and so far i’m clean.
mopsa: you don’t see them because the tricky fuckers mostly put them on old posts. so unless you have MT set up to notify you of new comments, you likely don’t find them. those porn spammers make me cranky!
i too have yet to be spammed. perhaps i’m safe from the storm, who knows. from the sounds of it, i don’t wanna have to deal with deleting porn from my fucking blog site. what has the world come to?
I didn’t get any porn on mine, there were all Viagra adds. ;P
